Positioned on top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 of the One World Trade Center building, One World Observatory, will provide unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters. Three floors of innovation and inspiration will complement the seemingly endless views, evoking feelings of the city’s signature pride, hope and determination.

One World Observatory is generously offering complimentary tickets to the Observatory for immediate family members who lost a loved one on 9/11 and first responders and recovery workers who responded from September 11, 2001 through May 28, 2002 to one of the sites of the attacks. Complimentary tickets are administered by the 9/11 Tribute Museum, a project of the September 11th Families’ Association. Each family member may register for up to four tickets and each 9/11 rescue and recovery worker may register for up to two tickets. Immediate family members include parents, spouses, domestic partners, siblings and children. One week advance registration is required for complimentary tickets.  Complimentary tickets are not available at One World Observatory box office.

To reserve complimentary tickets for One World Observatory as a family member or a 9/11 first responder or recovery worker, please complete the following contact registration form to submit choices for preferred date and time. Registration must be complete in order for tickets to be issued.  A representative will reply via email to requests for tickets.

The 9/11 Tribute Museum Has Closed Its Physical Location At 92 Greenwich Street As Of August 17, 2022. “Financial Hardship Including Lost Revenue Caused By The Pandemic Prevents Us From Generating Sufficient Funding To Continue To Operate The Physical Museum,” Said Jennifer Adams Co-Founder And CEO Of The 9/11 Tribute Museum. The Tribute Museum’s Online Presence Will Allow Us To Continue Providing Educational Resources And Support For The 9/11 Community. With This Announcement, The Tribute Guided Walking Tour Program, Led By The Tribute Museum’s 9/11 Community Of Survivors, First Responders, Residents And Family Members Will Cease Operation.

The Majority Of The Museum’s Physical Collection Is Being Moved To The New York State Museum In Albany. The Non-Profit Organization Known As The September 11th Families’ Association, Which Founded The 9/11 Tribute Museum, Is Working Closely With The New York State Museum To Facilitate These Transfers. The Association Is Coordinating With All Of Its Donors To Ensure The Exhibits And Artifacts Are Respectfully And Properly Handled.

For Over A Decade The Tribute Museum Has Shared Educational Resources For Teachers And Students Online, Reaching Classrooms Around The World With Personal Stories. The Association Is Proud To Continue Its Mission With Its Focus Now Being On An Online, Interactive Engagement With The 9/11 Community. The Tribute Educational Toolkit Offers Interactive Video Stories Of People Who Were Deeply Affected By The Attacks And Reveal How They Responded With Humanitarian Initiatives That Strengthened Their Local And Global Communities. These Stories Encourage An Understanding Of The Facts Of This Contemporary History And A Focus On The Extraordinary Civic Response.
