Both men have not only worked to achieve higher standards for the K-9 teams in New York City, they have also worked with K-9 trainers from around the world who have come here to learn about their techniques. The officers have also responded to help people across the country after recent natural disasters.<\/p>\n

The program will include a demonstration of the training techniques that are used to refine the skills of their canine partners.<\/p>\n

The program is geared for families and has been scheduled to coincide with Midwinter Recess. Children will have an opportunity to ask questions and to make special thank you cards for members of the K-9 team.<\/p>\n

Dog lovers, children and parents are welcome to attend this event. Due to the nature of the K-9 Unit training, no family pets will be allowed.<\/p>\n
